I want to make static display locomotives. Is there any kind of way i can disable the steam? Im using Trainz 2019.

Smoke and steam are items in the locomotive's config.txt. You can delete the whole container. See: http://online.ts2009.com/mediaWiki/index.php/"Smoke"_container

And what is the exact container called?
The name is determined by the content creator and could be different for each loco. But it should be obvious. If not, you can identify it by comparing the contents to the details at the site I referenced.
It's called the smoke container. In the config file you will see "smoke1, smoke2, smoke3 etc. But if you delete the lot you might come up with an error.
I have not tried this but it might be better to leave the smoke containers in place and just delete the values in each tag or make them all zero.
Make sure you clone the loco before you start and work on the clone. That way if it doesn't work you still have the original loco.

I cant find the container. I only get config and other needed files. How am i supposed to find the containers.
Containers are part of the config.txt file. Please consult the wiki item on smoke containers referenced above.

Im using K&L type smoke.
If you want assistance with a particular asset, for instance if you believe it is configured differently than other assets of that type, then you must provide the KUID and, if it's not on the DLS, the download site.

I believe its configured differently. I checked the config and there is no text that has to do with a container.

This thread does not need more replies now. I have found the smoke container in the locomotive's config file. I also credit SailorDan as I finally saw he was correct.
