These are fascinating! And very educational to an old Yank across the pond. The slipping starts were something I had never heard of over here, but I bet they must have been more common than I would think, given how much was in that first video. Both videos are great for learning some of the types, and classes of British locos. Thanks to both of you!

Great stuff! Love the fact they've got a Britannia on the Cleethorpes express. Ten years later I was on this train, but with a class 47 instead....
