How would I name a town or location on my route? TIA...

That name generator works well. My alternative is to look at a map for names I like.

Cottage Hill
Suttons Mills
Ayer
Radford
Bradford
Enfield
Eastport
Hull
Palmer
Pembroke
Lynnwood
Leominster
Acton
Wrentham
Amesbury
Bristol
Plymouth

etc.

These all exist on my Enfield and Eastern, and all these places are in my area where I live.

I often use names of my ancestors for towns, rivers, valleys, etc.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. How do I get the town name to show up on a route? If I go to a yard I would like the name of the yard or town to show up on the route.

You can Name ( ? ) any building or sign asset to be the name of your town

Go into Surveyor. Pick a static non-spline building or object, click the question mark and name it. Exit and save, go to Driver, from the menu use the Find Object and type in the name you gave it. It will take you right to it.

Something I have done is write the name of the town/location/yard/etc on a station nameboard and bury it under the surface of the ground at the place I want to name.
