Brand new to Trainz with an iPad question

I am brand new and trying the iPad version of Trainz 2 I'm going through the tutorials and just finished the first one. I noticed that the slider that controls speed is on the left side of the screen. Being right handed when I try to use it my arm blocks the whole screen. Is there a way to move it to the right side?

Unfortunately, as far as I am aware, there is no way to move the slider to the right side.

When you get to the tutorials on Realistic Mode you will notice that the throttle and reverser are also on the left side. I have wondered in the past why N3V choose to place them on that side, since for many of the locomotives featured on the sim the brakes are typically to the left of the throttle.

How nice would voice control be? "up a notch" or "down a notch" or "speed 15"
