Interlocking Towers - choice and Clicking on Selected EIT Route Asset?

Need to select an Interlocking Tower. Some date back to 2009 or earlier. Given the many updates to this process what criteria should I use to make a selection?

Is the cardboard box the only fully functional tower?

Also, using the IT Enhanced Manager clicking on the name of a route asset is supposed to take you to that asset. At that time I am in Session Edit mode and the route is not visible so nothing happens. ??

There is a built-in Interlocking Tower that resembles an actual signal box and an invisible tower (I presume that is the one you refer to as the "cardboard box") that is available from the DLS. These are the only two that I know of.

The "cardboard box" is the one that I use because you can put any visible signal box asset alongside or near it.

The other problem could be because in Platinum Surveyor mode you may have "Pause" switched on.

These use the EIT system and look really good.

Near the bottom it shows you how to edit the config file of any asset to add Enhanced Interlocking Tower functionality to other assets you may want to use instead of the "cardboard box".
