WIT Simulation Routes

So with WIT Simulation going offline on March 6th, I took the opportunity to download all three routes and I am missing dependencies for two of the three routes.

CSX Saginaw Sub

If anyone knows what they are and where I can get these dependencies, I be obliged. I am also working on getting the Conway Staves and Copperage Railway route, but I having a little problem with that route due to it being a rar archive.

The KUIDs listed without any other information except for the authors indicates I can't find these assets. It's a good possibility that they are payware or no longer exist due to any number of reasons.
 
Thanks for the info on the dependencies. For the Conway Staves and Copperage Railway route, I have trouble getting it to Trainz due to the file being a rar archive. Any suggestions on what to do on that one?

WinRAR or 7zip which are free will work. Lately I've been using WinRAR which has better options and doesn't choke on large files like 7zip did.

With that program, whichever version you choose, will "unzip" the RAR archive and you can then import that into Trainz.
 
THAT is what I hate about Trainz. Broke, missing, unknown dependencies that you have no idea what they are, is it a track, road, building, sign, etc.? and you have to go on a wild goose chase to track it down. Why is the site shutting down?
 
Exactly rwk. And sometimes you wonder if you have the dependency on Trainz and it's not showing on that route or you have to go searching for it. Anyway, I finally downloaded all three routes and the PRR Mainline route is all good to go, while the other two are still missing some dependencies. I am working on the dependencies for the CSX Saginaw route (thank you JCitron for the dependencies), but the Conway Staves and Copperage Railway route has 41 missing dependencies.

If I download a route from 5 or 10 years ago it's bound to have missing dependencies if it has third party assets because third party sites shut down, or content sometimes gets removed. For example, most USLW content will now not be found on google because the site no longer exists and the content is slowly being moved to Jointed Rail. You could try wayback archive, but it's hit or miss if downloads actually work. Sometimes kuid searches turn up Russian or other foreign language sites. Content creators should post the kuid numbers of items on their sites to make them searchable by Google. Sometimes even DLS routes have non-DLS items that even Google can't find. And sites like Trainz Commuter Rail changed hosts and the old downloads disappeared. Am I out of luck getting content from closed sites or where the creator had a payware site, closed it, and passed away?
 
I too am missing a few of the Conway Staves KUIDs.
After exhausting searches using the KUID index and Google, these are all that I left to find.

Most of the Jointed Rail content can be downloaded from their website from the Freeware section. You need to create an account in order to access the content.

The power supply spline by Robert Conti came from Trainz Italia. I don't know if it's still available.

The other assets, the 378673 ones by up8328, probably came from USLW.net which is out of service. Some of his content is located on JR, but not these and others are spread all over the web.

n-people are from neoclai.org other assets are from Jointed Rail, and some from long gone USLW.net. Some of the JR maybe payware while others are free. You need an account to access the free assets on Jointed Rail.
