T:ANE and AMD Freesync?

Hello all,

Does T:ANE benefit from or use AMD Freesync technology? T:ANE has been stuttering at times even with the profiler showing a FPS of 60, occurring in both Full V-sync and None. Having all settings on their lowest value doesn't seem to correct it. I cannot use half because of a consistent pause every 2 seconds or so. It is not just T:ANE that is doing this. Adjusting V-sync seems to greatly help other games, but I can't get T:ANE figured out. I've been considering upgrading to an Nvidia GTX 2070 at some point, but may see if a Free-sync monitor helps my current issue for the time being.

Does a Nvidia GTX support Freesync, I was of the impression it was an AMD technology. I have thought of matching a Nvidia GTX with a G-Sync monitor previously but certified G-Sync monitors all seem quite expensive and the un-certified ones have been reported as very hit and miss in respect of G-Sync capability.
