removing a crossing

i have recently merged a route with another and have a crossing TRC USM Kuid2:458053:100708:2 causing a (junction problem??). i have tried to remove this crossing and with all tabs available have not been able to remove the asset. a few of the other said crossings have been repaired but this one is a no go.
any suggestions as to how to remove this ? it is totally ruining the route.

never mind. after posting above i went back and the route is one grid square with labels floating above what was grid square. i deleted the whole thing. this is the second route i have lost with 2019. i was just starting to warm up to 2019
