Multiplayer Surveyor

What’s the future for multiplayer and Trainz? Particularly multiplayer surveyor?

Multiplayer is already here and has been here since TRS2010, or about 12 years ago now. Multiplayer Surveyor will be here eventually. I alpha-tested the very first version of it in 2017 and from what we've read here in the forums and newsletter a new version is going to be released for testing soon(tm).

I’ve been lurking for a while and have had Trainz since the original.

Recently started a fairly sizable route and would love to include some friends.

You're welcome. I lurk a lot in other forums, but I've been here forever even before the forum crash in 2006. I come here every day.

I agree this will be great for those big collaborative routes. I got involved in a few projects and emailing CDP's and links to a Dropbox or One-Drive account gets tiring fast. As you probably noted, there's that (tm). You know how long it takes to do stuff here so it'll happen some day.

I recently bought a new laptop so I decided to give 19 a try.

I couldn’t imagine trying to build a route that way.

I’m trying to do my hometown in the 50s and thought it would be cool if different friends could do different routes into the city.
