Trainz Plus 2019 Update 3 105100 is now LIVE

I got a bunch of those errors for perhaps nearly all the DLC installed. There appears to be updated data because the date and time changed for the assets in Content Manager, but since it's a configuration error on the server, I'm not worried about it because I don't have any missing or broken dependencies.

It seems to me that the speed of download from the content store is a bit slow.

...

Yes, its crawling along at a snails pace. And after an hour it tells you there is a problem. I figured it was lots of people downloading TRS19 updates.

I'll come back later.

After updating to 105100 I noticed that for many/most of the turnouts I'd manually added frogs (wing and guard rails), either the frogs moved or the spline curvature of track is different in 105100 from 100464.

Nice work guys.

It is urgent to add a date stamp to updatable stuff in the "Content Store" "Updates" tab. As it is for now, it is almost unusable as already installed updates still show an "Update" button.

As it's never worked properly for updates here I'm leaving it alone, everything remains working then. The one update that did work required a Database repair to fix issues it had caused with other DLC, that was a couple of Plus beta builds ago builds though. Right click on the Install or Update buttons view details and look for the version mismatch bottom left and avoid doing anything until this is sorted or clarified.

Oops... I didn't check enough turnouts. I suspect the ones I did check that had the misaligned frogs (guard & wing rails) were one that I installed and managed to forget that they needed to be aligned.

Mea culpa.

My apologies to N3V on this one.

SAP Protrack and 105100

I was having some trouble with certain flavors of

<kuid2:439337:102588:2> SAP Protrack U.S. 132LB Standard Gauge Track Mesh Library
<kuid2:439337:102743:1> SAP Protrack U.S. Standard Gauge 132LB Rail-Flat-Rusty-Right
<kuid2:439337:102607:1> SAP Protrack U.S. Standard Gauge 132LB Rail-Flat-Bright-Left
<kuid2:439337:102744:1> SAP Protrack U.S. Standard Gauge 132LB Rail-Flat-Rusty-Left
<kuid2:439337:102608:1> SAP Protrack U.S. Standard Gauge 132LB Rail-Flat-Bright-Right

As in when I tried to install track of these flavors in 100464 for the versions with ballast, nothing would appear on the display except the end point circles.
Clicking on the circles resulted in "buzz/beep" and a refusal to select or manipulate them (even when attempting to delete).
I had to use ctrl-Z (undo) to remove those circles.

However, the ties/rails/spikes only and rails only flavors seemed to work.

Now in 105100 NONE of them are working.

Curiously the

<kuid2:439337:102787:1> SAP Protrack U.S. 132LB SG, FB, Rusty, Track Only
<kuid2:439337:102789:1> SAP Protrack U.S. 132LB SG, FB, Shiny, Track Only
<kuid2:439337:102745:1> SAP Protrack U.S. 132LB SG, FB, TP with Spikes, Rusty
<kuid2:439337:102784:1> SAP Protrack U.S. 132LB SG, FB, TP with Spikes, Rusty, No Ballast
<kuid2:439337:102580:1> SAP Protrack U.S. 132LB SG, FB, TP with Spikes, Shiny
<kuid2:439337:102786:1> SAP Protrack U.S. 132LB SG, FB, TP with Spikes, Shiny, No Ballast

assets do work for me in 105100.

Huh?

I finally finished with the downloads. There was a hick-up for the newly released DB streamlined German engines, but that seemed to go away. There was, however, a huge number of missing dependencies for almost every pay route I've purchased, and a number of payware engines are showing broken.

Quite a few sessions for Philskene's routes were broken because the engine wasn't loaded, due to missing assets. Also, the C&O Hinton has many broken sessions, as the Kanawha engine was not loading. Very odd. If I've missed a fix somethere, please let me know. I've spent the better part of this afternoon downloading dependencies, and then there were the faulty ones that could not be fixed.

C&O Kanawha K-4 Steam Engine Kuid2:276266:100001:7 shows the following missing kuids:
unknown kuid:523:19721258 Auran
unknown kuid:276266:1092 ocemy
steam smoke Not Installed/payware kuid:276266:1273 ocemy
Berkshire N-1 Engine Not Installed/payware kuid:276266:100041 ocemy

These same kuids also break all other Kanawha engines that I've purchased or downloaded.

Philskene's sessions using the Loco AU Y RR Hudson Brass and Loco UP Harriman are broken because the engines are missing: unk Kuid:528:19721258 (same as the Kanawha)

Scratchy's route sessions for TS19 Coal to Richmond, Log Service, 03 Coal Service, Tourist Train, and Railfanning show missing dependencies and it appears two rolling stock appear to be the culprits. I don't know if they are needed in the sessions.

RPPX 60 FT.9ln Scrap Gondola Not Installed Payware (Not Active) Kuid:506034:405569 wearsprada
BN 62ft Bulkhead (early era) Not Installed Payware (Not Active) Kuid:506034:621608:1 wearsprada

Speed Tree Groups 10, 03, and 05 are all showing missing Kuid2:523:19723304 from Auran.

There is also a missing kuid for JR Grease Spot on several of Scratchy's routes, including the most recent Datsun Junction.

I'm sure I missed a few, but I wanted to check here to see if others had the same problems and to see if there are fixes.

On the positive note, the new updates look really nice, especially Coal Country.

Malc,
That was done right after the install. I'll try it again though.

I tried importing those missing kuids for the Kanawha from TANE but they now show as faulty for the engine.

Heinrich

Horace,
I have not tried it yet. I'll check it though. With all the other payware that was showing missing dependencies or faulty, I have not checked on the other routes yet.

Heinrich505

Trying to find BC&SJ but looks like it's not available to the public yet? Do you have testers? I'd give it a try in 105100.

Horace,
Yes, it loaded up, but took a veeeeeeery long time to do so. It was a little jerky coming out of Salem with framerates in the high 40s.

Heinrich505

Clam1952,
Whew, thanks Malc for talking me down from the panic attack. It looks like the second data base repair managed to take care of the problems I outlined.

Thanks - I appreciate it.

Heinrich505

Whew! I finally tracked down the last missing assets and my 105100 installation now appears to be working...

And now back to the route building freeway which is already in progress...
