TRS19 SP1 Release Candidate 105096

Are you sure you haven't clicked on the coupler icon again? The icons disappear on uncoupling here and highlight when you click the couple icon on the HUD.

I just tested it again taking care not to click any icon more than once and the result is the same.

EDIT: The ghost icons do disappear when I reverse the loco to couple with the wagons. Then if I repeat the process, everything works as it should.

EDIT 2: Bug report submitted.

EDIT 3: Curioser and curioser. I have just rerun the test on a second computer. It seems that the issue might be ACS related. When run using non GWR and non ACS rolling stock there is no problem. When GWR rolling stock using the ACS equipment is used, the problem occurs.

N3V QA have confirmed that there is an issue with some coupler masks and that the problem occurs, and is easier to reproduce, in Surveyor as well. They also noted that when a consist has no loco attached, the coupler masks do not appear at all, until a loco is attached.

ACS Couplings:

ACS couplings now animate in surveyor which is good.

However I'm still seeing the issue where, for couplings you connect in surveyor, the ACS meshes revert to their uncoupled state after saving the session, exiting surveyor and reopening the session in surveyor or driver.

Latest Patch to 105096

This was my original thread now transferred to this one.

Is anyone having problems after this patch.

My startup will not complete the first splash screen.
Stuck indicating "Loading environment please wait".
Startup splash screen images not loading.
When returning to windows game unloads.

From Tony today on another thread.
Create a fresh userdata folder and check that everything is working fine.
Then make a backup of your old userdata folder before trying the following (which basically resets things without losing any content).

Close Trainz, navigate to your old userdata folder, delete /backup and /cache folders, and the .tdx files.
Start Trainz and point to your old userdata folder again.
Close Trainz and restart.

Completed all the above with the three installs in my system.
I am still unable to progress past the startup screen.
See attached screen images which indicate what I see.

Unfortunately my back up system is not set to save the C:/ users DIR. This will be changed.

I do have all my local data from my Games Drive F:/ backed up, on a different drive G:/ so all my content is safe together with all my Third Party purchased content.

The remainder of course is on the DLS requiring a time investment.

Create a fresh userdata folder and check that everything is working fine.

You didn't mention if this step worked?

Check in Content Manager and report if you have any payware not active assets.

It sounds like time to redownload as your installed build must be corrupt. Log in to MyTrainz.com > Download TRS19.

This is the conclusion that I already came to.

Thank you, will keep you informed.

Seasons greetings

Will it be OK to copy directory Local from the old installation

Tony, I still have the same problem, stuck on screen "Loading Environment" after new install of TRS19 plus last patch.
Notice in CM that I have all of my old Filters have appeared again, how would it have found them.
What next other than a complete uninstall using CCleaner in my case, together with a clear out from my PC of all TRS19 directories.
I also have Tane and a recently installed TRS12, loaded two days a go just before the problems commenced.
These could also be removed as I will be able to reinstall from DLS.
