I now have my Durango route converted over to TRS19. It was fun and fairly uneventful. It was also changed to the 1890's era from the 1930's which proved to be a challenge finding assets that are period correct.
When I started to make a session is where I ran into big problems. No period correct locomotives or working rolling stock. When I attempt to make a rolling stock accept a commodity then submit edits it throws up numerous errors
I am a route creator....not an asset creator or editor. I don't enjoy fiddling with that stuff.
So, here I am sitting on a beautiful route with no sessions. Very disappointing. I am wanting to create sessions like Philskene does for his Model RR routes. I like the idea and process of manually loading and unloading the rolling stock.
Is anyone willing to help create period correct working assets for the 1890's? I need passenger/mail/baggage cars for the D&RGW in 36 inch NG. I need boxcars configured to take commodities of general goods, lumber, metal, dry goods, bottling, groceries etc. I need ore cars. Also need flat cars to take logs, lumber.
Steam engines are 2-6-0 and 4-4-0. Again, in 36 inch NG. I have found the locos in that configuration in Standard Gauge.
Thanks for reading,
Randall
