Disc Hard Drive vs SSD Hard Drive

I'm beginning to wonder if it makes a serious difference whether your playing the game on a HDD vs SSD. I and my co-worker at APKNite will be playing together, I will always spawn in a minute or two after he does, and the enemies always appear about 30 seconds later, and the voice acting is late too.
my computer
i7 6700k
RTX 2070
20 something gigs of ram
HDD hard drive
His computer
i7 6700
GTX 1070
16 gigs of ram
SSD with HDD secondary (the game is installed on SSD)

I think the best way is to combine them both. This is how I did. I have a 1Tb (big enough for me) HDD and 120 Gb SSD. The OS Windows is installed in the SSD, which makes the laptop run at least five times faster than it used to. But the rest of the information that I don’t use any minute is on the HDD. I think this is the best way to get as much as possible for as little money as possible. SDD provides great performance, and HDD provides the volume of the memory. This will make the data recovery process easier for my mind if Windows crashes. I can’t imagine working on a computer without an SSD now.
