The Grid and PBR Texture heights

PBR Texture selected height remaining after removal

I have replaced some PBR Textures with the grid using the Bulk Update/Replace Tool in a Route I'm working on to redo track work
What I was left with was a grid textures of various sizes sitting at an angle in various places
It is sloping from actual ground level to the height of the original PBR Texture ( the height it was painted from the Select Scale Tool )
If you try to paint over it it moves away in the direction of the highest point unless it is painted over from the high end first
I've managed to get rid of some of it by copying and pasting from a new clean Base Board and going over it a few times then
lowering the terrain under the track by -5 of the height then smoothing but some areas are remaining

It looks like you have multiple grids overlaying each other.

In my experience, having multiple textures overlaid near the rails results in funny rendering such as what your screen shots show.

What happens if you repaint the grid so there are no overlaps near the tracks?

Right pain in the posterior that effect is.
