    Default rgcx box cars censored?

A call for help here, please.

In a session for one of my T:ANE layouts I used a selection of boxcars with graffiti by the prolific uploader of boxcars and other rolling stock, rgcx.

I find that three of the boxcars that I used in the T:ANE session are on the Download Station but try as I may (and, trust me, I have tried everything I can think of) I cannot get them to appear for downloading in the TRS19 Manage Content.

    The three are:
    50ft Boxcar NS 402613
    50ft Boxcar NS 411207
    50ft Boxcar WP 38017

    This is the NS 402613:

Can anyone get these boxcars to show in the TRS19 Manage Content for downloading?

If it's a universal problem for all of us TRS19 users, have these particular boxcars been made "unavailable" because of the graffiti? But if that is the case why are they still on the DLS?

<kuid2:128368:491009:1> 50ft Boxcar NS 402613 was uploaded October 2018, and I'm pretty sure that by then anything uploaded with a build prior to 3.5 was web download only.

It's due to the trainz-build number from memory as it doesn't show recent content uploaded to the Download Station on Content Manager if it's below the supported version.

https://www.auran.com/DLS/index.php Click on download page and click download ftp. Once downloaded import CDP. These assets wont download to content manager because it is no longer supported from the old DLS.

If you use the kuid filter, and enter the exact kuid, the content manager will show it as unknown, but will download the asset. If it's a dependency of an asset, downloading the asset will download it as a dependency. After downloading it's marked as 'Third Party'.

Or, in other words, yes they are censored but no, not because of graffiti.

Norm -- that sums it up perfectly.

It makes me wonder, though, how many gems are hidden from TRS19 users because of this.

There shouldn't be any. The content creator is warned at upload time that they are uploading an asset at a build number that isn't supported. They then have the opportunity to upgrade it to build 3.5 and re-upload.

I did censor a few of those rgcx cars myself. There were a couple I did not want up on my screen, but to each there own....

11,636 to be precise. The one identified as being on the DLS is among that number. The only error is because it was uploaded at TB2.9 and promptly routed to the CRG. Is it more deserving to be fixed than the other 11,635?

    Thanks for the help guys.

For anybody interested in the more pictorial graffiti (not just tags), this is the selection of freight cars by rgcx that I found the most interesting:

    50ft Boxcar ASRY 2013
    50ft Boxcar BKTY 154675 **
    50ft Boxcar BKTY 154818 **
    50ft Boxcar CSXT 137534
    50ft Boxcar EEC 3534 **
    50ft Boxcar KCS 153214
    50ft Boxcar MNNR 1324
    50ft Boxcar NS 402613 **
    50ft Boxcar NS 407279
    50ft Boxcar NS 411207 **
    50ft Boxcar RBOX 32031
    50ft Boxcar RBOX 37175
    50ft Boxcar RBOX 39485
    50ft Boxcar RBOX 39943
    50ft Boxcar RBOX 43272
    50ft Boxcar WP 38017 **

    50ft ACF Hopper BCOL 829038
    50ft ACF Hopper CSXT 255377
    50ft ACF Hopper UP 79028 **
    50ft ACF Hopper WLPX 35040

    50ft Gondola RGCX 46182

The ones with the double asterisk have to be downloaded either manually via FTP or by entering the kuid in Manage Content.

Which one do I like best? This one:

    Additions welcome.

    Phil
