Installed assets and routes can be saved to CDP files using Content Manager.
Right-click on the asset and choose Export to CDP. Put in name of the CDP and the data will be added. When completed, a File Explorer window (Windows), or a Finder window (Mac) will open up.
Keep in mind these CDP files should be limited to 500 MB max, otherwise, weird things can happen causing the archives to corrupt.
