Train Derailment destroys new trucks

Two things come to mind right off the bat,

:( Sun Kink from Summer Heat that is now upon us these last few days from lower than normal temps we just left to 100 degrees or more we've had in the last 3 days???

And or broken Rail Joint, only other thing, could it be something shifted from our Recent earthquakes with where felt in Las Vegas, and far North as upper Central California, its a stretch, but just wondering, as usual and respectfully so, We have to wait for Railroad Engineers to figure out with the Crew on this Consist for the exact Cause(s).....

Too bad nice new cars like this took such a tumble.:'(

Thank you for sharing with us.....

As a Jeep owner, it's sad to see its relations all banged up, but the good news is no one was hurt and nothing dangerous was spilled.

I'm inclined to believe and speculate of course that this was caused by the sudden heat extreme changes, which can break rails and cause kinks. We're lucky in this respect back east but we have to do deal with high humidity and all that it causes to infrastructure.

I was thinking about this... These are those fake plastic Jeeps and Chevy trucks in there. All they'll need is some CA or a bottle of Testors plastic glue and the vehicles will be back together. They might have trouble with the break and snap-fit clips that break off when the parts are opened though.

Clean up in aisle #4... lol.
