CTD when editing Pro-Track junctions.

Formerly in TANE and now in TRS19, I occasionally I get a CTD (Crash to Desktop) when editing pro-track junctions.
e.g. when clicking on the spline node with the set height tool to make sure all the parts of the junction are level.

It's great that TRS19 gives you the option to "revert or use" when restarting the game after the CTD but I want to stop it happening in the first place.
This event is not consistant, I have edited a huge marshelling yard without problems but I have had CTD in smaller routes of 1 or 2 baseboards with hardly ant track on!
I first thought it was my GTX1050Ti/i3 GPU combo not coping with it, but I have since upgraded to a GTX1660Ti/i7 combo but still get this intermittent problem.
Laying 'Normal' track is safe, laying Pro-Track is like playing Russian Roulette!
I do make regular saves, but the gremlins know just when to attack!

So, does anyone else get this CTD problem?

edited to add, it is not restricted to the track of one author, but many different ones!
