Crazy! COMIN' THRU - 32 MOW units pass crossing, some with gates up! CLOSE CALL!

10 minutes of MOW cars through a crossing at Thomasville NC. Close Call at 2:09 as more than one MOW passes with gates up. 10 minutes of MOW's and wild wild "Honking" - All credit goes to Virtual Railfan live cam. I caught this 5/16/19 late afternoon.

 
Wonder if those gates are playing up all 4 gates are operating at different speeds
Sometimes one is up one is down then one coming down and goes back up
I think the operation of them needs to be tested
 
The gates normally work perfectly and they did all day long EXCEPT for these Mow units. Likely it's the short length of the units and their spacing that confused the gates.
 
Then maybe the drivers of the MOW units need retraining on how to approach the crossings, responsibility rests
with all workers with regard to the public, not just management
 
Yeah... it was just kind of..."We're coming through.. get out of our way!" It sure didn't appear to be "safety first." But then, I'm not on one of these things crossing dozens (hundreds) of crossings every day having to put up with drivers who totally ignore what is happening around them....
