Union Pacific Excursion Consist

Been watching many of the "Big Boy Back in Service" and am wondering if it's possible to duplicate all or some of the modern U.P. excursion consist in Trainz.

It is very much quite possible. You need to build whatever isn't readily available, is the only downside.

There was a thread for the consist used to carry George Bush when he passed away. If it is doable, I am thinking this thread or another will grow rapidly. From what I can see in the videos today it was the Big Boy, followed by a black fuel oil tender followed by a second UP yellow tender (water?), followed by the 844 steam loco, followed by two of the same combo of tenders, followed by a diesel loco, a baggage car, and several passenger cars. Everything is probably already out there, it just may need some cloning and reskinning to make the exact consist.

(Assuming that you are speaking of a current, in-game consist that you can use for a modern day UP excursion train.)
There is not currently an exact consist for the modern day UP consist. However, one can get fairly close using a number of add-ons that are currently available.

- The City Of Passenger Sets from Trainz Forge.
- The FEF-3s from Trainz Forge
- Cloakedghost275's Auxiliary Water tender from the DLS. (Peter's Trainz has reskinned versions in Black and With the American flag.)
- A Union Pacific EMD SD70 from Jointed Rail (Paid) OR Union Pacific SD60 or SD75 from srstrainz (free)
- The built in BigBoy (This one is numbered 4006, however a quick search on the DLS could yield a reskin of it numbered as 4014.)

Thanks everyone. It looks like a consist and Big Boy are being developed by the Backshop. Should be a beauty.
