Here's a problem from way back in the time-machine, but which has come back with a vengeance lately and affects the current build, 100240 and the previous one..
In TRS19, I have a session involving a large number of AI consists moving about on a large route delivering goods, passengers and services to a broad number of interactive industries and stations.
One of those consists has 8 TUME 50ft boxcars which originated from the included, T:ANE-era Milwaukee Road Avery-Drexel route (<kuid2:82412:104611:9> ) that I employed to make up part of this consist.
The problem is, that when these boxcars are loaded at the first industry they service, the sliding doors continue to open and close after they are initially opened for loading. They remain opening and closing indefinitely whilst in transit thereafter.
These are the particular KUIDs involved, but there are several others I swapped out because of this issue earlier that are also afflicted.
<kuid2:82412:300513:2> TUME-300513-Boxcar-50ft-CN, <kuid2:82412:300512:2> TUME-300512-Boxcar-50ft-GN, <kuid2:82412:300503:2> TUME-300503-Boxcar-50ft-MILW, <kuid2:82412:300502:2> TUME-300502-Boxcar-50ft-MILW, <kuid2:82412:300501:2> TUME-300501-Boxcar-50ft-MILW.
This is obviously a scripting issue, where the animation loop persists and fails to complete.
Interestingly, proximity control is possible with this issue. If I give focus to the boxcars as they load, then the doors remain shut after they close following loading!
With more than 20 running consists to oversee in this particular scenario, I have no wish to always strictly supervise this consist's loading schedule!
Is there a fix available for this problem? Can anyone here remember how - and if - it was fixed back in the T:ANE era when it first manifested?
