    Default Potash Loading?

Can you believe there is not ONE video anywhere on the Internet that shows railcars being loaded with Potash!?

I have not found videos, look at this pdf where it shows a covered loader for potash with an interesting structure for operators to open the upper part of the hoppers.

    Dave,
I didn't look for videos, but maybe try looking up the Trona Railway or Searles Valley Railway in California? I was able to find quite a few images at various sites. They mine several minerals including Potash.

    Thumbs up

I find it interesting in the fact, I have gone thru Mojave many a time to other States and destinations, and have seen this what I thought was very long Spur, unknown to me until now of this Thread, that in actuality it was always a Short Line, what a surprise,,,, Thank you for sharing a little if unknown fact to me, and I am sure others to who have passed by......Good too see it is still viable with natural minerals be mined......
