I think I remember working with both of the assets when I first started out in Trainz, and I was fascinated with the slow motion animated points movements. They have no physical point switch machine, and have no big fat fuzzy Red/Green Trainz arrows. I think you just click on the points area, and the points animation starts. I tried lots and lots of animated turnouts, but all of them are fixed track assets, that lie on flat ground, and can not be tilted to go uphill on a gradient. I soon got tired of that aspect of having a "flat earth" route.
I have always wondered, as with GFisher's - Frog L/R, there is a black line mask that makes the appearance of a gap between the rails at the frog ... And oftentimes thought: "Why couldn't the Trainz switch machines have employed a black mask that flips to one side, and the other side, when you flip the switch machine direction, opening and closing the switch points gap" ?
