I checked my ports according to the troubleshooting and it is open. Is there any other way to get the patch? I do have the gold membership also so I'm able to d/l this.

From my understanding the Trainz Plus patches don't have any offline installers. You will need to check that the patcher is allowed through your firewall (it's likely you will need to allow it by application name).
The full error message will also help in case it's a folder permissions issue.
If you are using Windows Vista or later, try running Trainz as an administrator as this may help the patch program. I'd also make sure you're downloading from the Trainz Plus patch stream as well.
I tried administrator settings but it just will not download. This is on my G drive which I also have my flight simulator on which has no issues. Not sure what permissions to change and further test.
The problem is at your end somewhere - we just need to figure out where.
Which build are you patching from?
Which stream are you using?
Try running the Patch Installer.exe from your install folder.
Double check the path an username are correct.
Could be trying to patch the wrong version if you have multiple installs or backups? So double check it is actually pointing at the correct TRS19, may have more success running the patcher from your TRS19 folder?
