Built-in Content Request / Skilled Creators Wanted

As many of you know, the Trainz Community provide a large portion of the built-in content for each version of Trainz we release.

What you may not know is that those creators receive a share of the revenues, earning many thousands of dollars. We now have a dozen content creators who have earned over USD$10,000 in royalties, and several more well on their way to that milestone and beyond.

We're keen to expand that group, so if you have a route that you’ve been working on and it is semi complete (you expect to complete it within roughly the next 12 months) and are interested in having it built-in to the next version of Trainz then we would be interested in taking a look and discussing it further with you.

We are looking for a diverse list of routes from all over the globe. These can be prototypical, protolance or fictional. Any routes accepted into the built-in content set will see the creator(s) working closely with the team to help ready the route for release.

We would also be interested in:

  • Content creators with the skills to create:
    • Quality sessions
    • Individual assets (locomotives, cabs and rolling stock, trackside objects, splines and scenery)

  • High quality content, including:
    • Locomotives
    • Cabs
    • Rolling Stock
    • Track / Trackside
    • Scenery (static or splines)

If you are interested in becoming involved and earning money from your hobby, or you have the skills we are looking for please get in contact with us at contentcreators@n3vgames.com

We're also keen to expand our Downloadable content offering via our Trainz Store, plus Steam and Mac App Store. Again, many creators are earning decent revenues for their contributions.
You are welcome to sell the same content from your own webstore, so for those of you already selling on your own stores, you're definitely missing out on thousands of dollars in royalties.
We're keen to expand the range, the quality and the regional offerings. We have lots of demand for quality content, so it might be time to get in touch to find out more?

The Trainz Team

Maps

Good morning!! If it could interest me I would have created several Italian maps of the North-Italy region, specifically: a map in 3000 V.cc entitled La Spezia-Milan and Turin, a second map in mixed current 3000 v.cc and 3600 v.ca entitled Genoa-Asti, this is made up of another 5 lines, and another map all in three-phase 3600 v.ca Genoa-Asti plus a metric map Genoa -Casella.Tutte are for TS 2010 and TS 2012.All these maps do not they are remakes of other authors even partially. Among other things, the map of the spice -milan and turin crosses the territory of the 5 lands in Liguria. In addition the mixed map 3000/3600 provides for the change of traction in the ovada station.

work should be rewarded ;)

well here we go, that's a good opportunity for awesome creators to earn some additional pennies from their work :D

Which version of TRS2019 would a route have to be built in? Is this something open only to Silver/Gold members with access to the latest beta issue?

Hi Vern
This is open to all creators, not just those with Trainz Plus access. As it currently stands, the Trainz Plus build is using the same 'trainz-build' number, so any route built in it should work in the current standard TRS19 releases.

Regards

Can we get 4k texture support in TRS19? This might seem off topic but it's rather important to a number of content creators, even ones that would be happy to provide quality built in content.

Just a thought
