Trainz and JMRI Panel Pro

Has anyone used JMRI Panel Pro to construct an external CTC machine for a Trainz route and successfully connected it to Trainz so a dispatch can use the CTC machine to operate Trains turnouts and signals?

I designed one in Trainz to work with my signals. The problem with using an external interface is there is no good way to get it to talk to the Trainz software. The keyboard is the only method I can think of. And whether you use the all-digital version or a physical console, the signals have to understand when they're being messaged, which is not something most signals can do.
