TRS2019 And Basemaps

Just a small point but I noted working with (model railway) basemaps in Surveyor TRS2019, depending on the viewing angle the map has a tendency to disappear from view. The map is correctly positioned on its locked layer. This makes it a tad more tricky to follow the printed plan and I don't recall it as in issue in TANE. Has anyone else working with basemaps seen this behaviour?

Have you tried adjusting the lighting?

I had to remove the fog and make the lighting a bit darker to be able to see the basemaps on a model route I've been working on.

In the end I just raised it by 0.1m but makes it harder to see where the track at height 0.0 is. This is why I wish Basemaps also had an option to paint a (sharp) image of the plan on the terrain similar to Transdem.
