New Baseboard Fascias and Room Furniture

That looks awesome! I wish I could do that, too bad I know nothing about design, let alone having computer skills like that. I see you made just enough space for storage, which most designers forget about this. I am very impressed with your work, and I wondered if you could do something like that for my garden. It would help me a lot as I have no idea how to create a beautiful, small place to escape in my garden. I've seen this lovely piece of furniture on gardenfurniture.co.uk, and I want to create something unique in my garden. Perhaps, you can help me design it from scratch. I would be grateful :)

See-Through Windows

Excellent, sir!
Ish

Thank you Ishy!,
I've brought some more of your Marsz assets back down to Earth thanks to Hotgrove finding them and showing them in his model railway room.
I hope you are OK, not seen you around for a month or two.

_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Today I have something for the Trainz Model Railway modellers.....
2 sets of widows for your layout room inspired by Hotgrove's new layout,
One set for TRS12/TANE and one set for TRS19.
The roof windows can be rolled to change the angle. (shift + rotate)
The TRS19 windows do not cast shadows.
Available in rusty brown or painted white.

These are repaints and updates to the original Marsz Glass assets by Ish6.

Now they look very useful Graham. It's been a while since I last did anything in the way of a TMR format layout and those lovely windows just might get my creativity kickstarted again.

I am not sure of what you mean, if you mean nightlight then it's a no.
Nightlight is usually for looking into buildings so not sure if it's right for these.
Maybe someone can make a night scene to go behind the window on the outside.

Cheers,
Graham

Today I have some updates for the Trainz Model Railway modellers.....
I have improved the white ceiling splines, they are now actually white when viewed from below them.
In the dark they give the effect of subdued ceiling lighting.

I had a request to add some smaller windows from the above converted Marsz set, they are on the DLS now.

EMM MR 219 Baseboard Edging Walnut <KUID:166065:116225>

The furniture is based on the originals by Ray Whiley to whom I am very grateful for his support and letting me update and reskin his assets.:D
The same goes for Philskene and Ish6 for their baseboard fascia assets.

These are on the DLS and in CM for build 4.6, they are not PBR.

This is what they look like in a model railway room.

My originals go back some way! Glad to see they are still of some use - and as before your reskins are much better, Graham!
I did begin some books with rather whimsical titles to go on the shelves but never got very far.

Good stuff. One thing we could do with is an object(s) to emulate a lift out section, or the "duck under", usually just a baseboard top on a frame of 2" x 1" timber. At lease it was years ago when I had an actual model railway.

Yes, I've done that some time ago, Vern. A section of baseboard with a simulated chipboard surface and a frame from my baseboard edging.

In one of my routes (unpublished), I wanted a duck-under. Instead, I used a lift bridge just to show where it was.

Sorry, you won't find it Vern as it is not a separate asset but just created by manipulating digholes and applying a texture to the remaining baseboard area and adding supports made from my basebard edging, which is available from the DLS. You can see a distant view of the result on this screenshot on my web site:
https://raystrainz.wordpress.com/project-1073-gallery-the-model-railway-room/
Baseboard edging spline is KUID2:275817:37330
