i have a detailed layout I have been working on for tane, mostly Jointed rail and trc content, Its a 2 room ho layout, first room in the middle has a 4-6 loop with industrys but is connected by a draw bridge to a mainline 2 track electric commuter with industries also connected to the second room with a unique hump yard and friend engine yard and facilities connected to another mainline outside track that goes back into the first room. Very detailed but the second room is not finished. been creating for years hands down this is my best route yet. i just exported it to two cdp files so i can send it to you through my email if you would be willing to critique it and feel free to change it around. the base of the map is called train room 4 but because i'm unfamiliar with layering the assets are on the session called train room defalt. my email is jamesmedynski89@gmail.com

Well, in one of the recent N3V newsletters I was mentioned as the "prolific creator of model railroads".

You will find several, both standard and narrow gauge, on the Download Station. Sessions too. All use only built-in or Download Station content (well, except a couple of sessions where I provide an external link for locomotives).

Also do a search of the Forums where I give the background and description of the layouts, for example, like this:

https://forums.auran.com/trainz/sho...ge-layout-quot-The-Kab-Fourword-Railroad-quot

To find other threads, use the "Advanced Search" function, thus:

I'm working on what I call a 'Micro Trainz' model railroad. It's based off the Mower Lumber Company track plan here: http://www.carendt.com/micro-layout-design-gallery/industrial-prototypes/
I've got the track, buildings, and industries in place, now I've got to do textures, trees, and a few extra details.
If you want to see some other track plans, here's the link to the homepage: http://www.carendt.com/
EDIT: Well, it looks like my version is not what I call a 'Micro Trainz' model railroad. The track plan on the website is 9 inches x 48 inches (23cm x 122cm). Unfortunately, my ended up being 13 feet x 2 feet 9 3/5 inches (4m x 0.9m). This excludes an 1 foot 10 4/5 inch (0.6m) extension for a staging track. Hopefully if I do this again, I'll be closer to the original track plan's dimensions.

Thanks lads for you suggestions so far. Suer, i know Philskenes lovely layouts as well as MSGSappers brilliant railways for ages - but i will give Railheads and Jameswavys a try for now and as a start - further suggesstions appreciated - i know Joseph Folcos layouts as well but have especially at the Gorre & Daphetid a lot of derailings.

If you want some completely different model layouts that can be used for American (or any for that matter) rolling stock, search for my "multi level" layouts. I made a North American multiplayer session for at least one of them.
See example image of one of them.
