Sound effects of junctions and curve screeching... How are they?

So for those testing the new versions, what do people think of the junction sound effects? Is it the same annoying defaults that goes back as far as TRS2010? Did N3V bother to make any effort in making rails screech through curves at various speeds be it low or high?

Both are different than previous versions.

I recommend trying it for yourself since our opinion will vary from what you have.

But anyway the junctions now make a clunking sound rather than the banging of single wheels, and there is a different squeal which is much better.

I like the new sounds very much.

Well that sounds promising. While on the subject of sound effects, is there a better sound engine that allows better sound effects for electric traction motors and other electric trains?
