NVidia Unveils RTX 20-series GPUs

Quite possible that the lower echelon cards like the 2050 and 2060 will still be designated GTX and not RTX according to some industry insiders.
RTX prefix is intended to be reserved for the higher-level cards from the 2070 upwards.
Note the loss of multi-GPU (SLI-type) capabilities for the RTX 2070s. The 2080 and 2080Ti have the new GeForce RTX NVLink™ bridge which can connect two NVLink SLI-ready graphics cards with up to 50X the transfer bandwidth of previous technologies.

Attached is an outline of a few of the 2080/Ti cards about to hit the market unfortunately you may not be able to afford TRS2019 after purchase. Peter

I wouldn't get too excited, a lot of hype but no real world proof yet.

Yes - wait for the independent reviews - particularly those directly comparing the new GPUs with their predecessors whilst running the same tasks/ games/ programs.

I like the sound of the new DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) enabled by the new Tensor cores.
