cross ties

would like to know if some one could let know what the messurments of ties for ho scale are? thanks a lot..:'(

Do you know the measurements of a tie in normal scale?

7 in x 9 in x 8 ft

I found all this by typing in actual wurdz on GOOGLE

HO would be 1:87 th scale

As cascade said, most ties are 7" x 9" in cross section which in HO would be .080" x .103". The local plant also cuts 6" x 8" ties which is .069" x .092". Lengths can vary, but I believe all ties they cut (excluding switch and bridge ties) are 8'-6" in length which in HO is 1.17"
