How do you cut the squares?

Hello all.
OK, at one time I know but have totally forgotten. how to I cut off the squares and drop them to become a floor?

Use digholes for the first 10+ meters. After that just lower the ground. Now place a floor.

Or use the large digholes by itareus which can delete up to 18x2 squares each. It depends which method you prefer to use.

Or the 60x60, 30x10, 60x10, 120x10, 120x20 or 240x10 by me.

Not the wildest assets I ever made, but they get the job done.
