Trouble with road traffic

I'm building a west australian route and I'm sure I set the geographic location when I started, but I have no road traffic. I have set the lat / long coordinates and traffic on in the edit environment menu, but still no joy. Am I missing something? Do I have to use a particular road spline? Each time I return to the change coordinates option they are blank, as if it hasn't saved the coordinates I entered...is that normal?

Ensure you have traffic enabled by choosing a region such as Australia, which is the one you want. This is chosen in the route setup, which can be edited by clicking on Main menu and choosing Edit route...

I haven't seen the option to choose the region, just adjust the world location coordinates. I'll have a look for that, thanks JCitron.

Some roads are also "no traffic" though it's usually specified in the description.

The setting you need is in the Edit Route option in the Surveyor main menu. Click on the box that says "Region" and select "Australia".
