There you can replace the sounds with different ones, or delete them (haven't tried it)

They used to be stored, locked up, encrypting them away, inside an uncrackable JA file ... I don't know what was the reasoning of locking them up so securely was, hidden away, from fiddling hands, of those who wished to alter them ?

I changed them by overwriting the files with another track sound.
Don't remember what I used because it was not good in just one time.
I changed the files just as long till it sounded like I wanted it to sound.

It does not matter if the new sounds are longer or shorter in size.

Copy the originals to a save place so you can put them back anytime.

You can create a "New Folder" in the sound folder, and place the originals inside the "New Folder"

I use this "New Folder" technique to place and safeguard original files, globally throughout all my Trainz files

Where are the wheel_clang sounds located for TS12? I want to test something.
Now waiting for TRS19 to go on sale. I use USD values for money. Also volunteer on the Colebrookdale Railroad.

They're packed in the JA files.

You can extract them if you have the JA extractor, but repackaging them have fun
