just downloaded TANE and mouse doesn't work

Hello.. I was a TANE person years ago and now just downloaded the TANE SP2 full version. I have tried 3 different mice and none of them work. Once it loads it just sits and does nothing. Nothing is clickable. Any ideas?

Do you have anything plugged in such as a steering wheel, Track I.R., etc.? Sometimes they will cause a program or game to stop sending signals to a mouse.

Actually, just bought the computer and haven't downloaded anything installed anything else or plugged in anything..lol
