Legacy of the BN update - still in the works?

I recall reading last fall that a major update/expansion to the Legacy of the BN was in the works. Is this still under consideration, or did it get put on the backburner? Just curious, as the LotBN is one of JR's finest creations in my opinion.

Still work in progress, but not a first line of creations.
I'm not fine with performance, as for me, new version will be very slow for users which dodn't have GTX980 or GTX1070.
Thus i'm doing third revision, which will be released for TANE and further sim.
