Is There A Way To Download User-Made Maps?

Hello, I am looking to simulate running my own train company but do not have the time to build a map at the moment, could anyone tell me if there is a way to install and use user made maps, and can you recommend any, ideally in northern England, to me?

Welcome to the forum, Dude.

The best way to find maps (we call them "routes") is to use your TANE Content Manager. If you set the filter to "Custom" and add the following conditions:

Category = Route
On Download Station = True
Obsolete = False

You will be shown hundreds of routes. I don't do British routes, but I'm sure someone will be along with content creators who do.

Make a note of authors who showcase their work on that thread and have a look at their work using the filter details given above but a filter for Trainz username and use that. You can save the filters too using meaningful name, so you can go back to the list at a later date.
