Fifty years ago the term "Made in Germany" meant an overtested, overengineered Volkswagen or Mercedes. Nowadays with competition from the far east and slack maintenance teams we have that to worry about.

At least it showed why upper quadrant was the way to go as its own weight defaulted it to danger.
