Monitor for TANE

I need to replace my computer monitor. The computer it will be used on is used almost exclusively for TANE.

My current monitor has a 1920 x 1080 display. Is there any advantage to getting a 2560 x 1440 display. Will the graphics be any better. I have a GeForce NVidia 1080 TI graphics card.

Any thoughts or suggestions.

Yes - the GTX 1080Ti deserves to be run at a higher resolution than 1080p. You could also consider a 4K monitor, as the 1080Ti is the only gaming GPU currently considered as 'Best for UHD' and thus rated as No. 1 for that purpose by Tom's Hardware.

Thought I'd better show what they currently recommend in terms of gaming monitors too:
(Note the emphasis on adaptive refresh rates and panel types).

That said, there are many bargains to be had at the moment with 2560 by 1440 resolution displays.
As long as you have the space to accommodate it, look for screen sizes of 28" or more. Many 2K and 4K monitors can be found at 32" or better.
