NSW railways following in the footsteps of TANE

Looks like we decided to upgrade to new standards
or bigger is better no matter what the cost
The only difference is the service pack will come out before the release so they can run
And we thought TANE had problems

Gouging out 10 tunnels so that the new trains can pass through without scratches will add to to the overall cost. Not an easy job to do.

Don't you wish the 'pollies' did their homework first on all new upgrades; and well before they placed any orders. If the Transport Minister offered to pay any additional costs out of his own pay packet, then we wouldn't mind so much - but of course that won't happen. As usual, we will have to pay for their mistakes.

I'll stick with Trainz,.... far cheaper to run.

I think this happened many years ago, in Victoria, when new suburban trains were built and the test train collided with platforms.
