THIS IS NOT AN EARLY APRIL FOOLS ARTICLE! THIS IS NO JOKE! And in December 2017, he purchased ex-Connecticut Department of Transportation SPV #1001 for $1,000. He also purchased an ex-Fayette Central Railroad 1997 Ford 350XL 4x4 high-rail truck. On February 7th of this year, he added to his collection former New Haven 66-seat MU 5111 club car, the last surviving of four multiple-unit cab cars out of 100 MU cars purchased by the New Haven in 1954. These MU cars were replaced by M-2 series MU's in 1973. He is now looking into acquiring an ex-New Haven roundhouse in eastern Connecticut. This information comes from Trains Magazine E-Newsletter. Also, he has opened a Go Fund Me page asking $5,500 to move the 5111 club car and the SPV2000 as the state of Connecticut told him he has two weeks to move the SPV2000.
