The last engineer that did this on NS (wearing the same mask) was terminated when some good-hearted railfans posted it and corporate saw it. Hope this guy has good union representation.

He wasn't wearing it.
It was on his hand, it was too floppy.
So its just good fun... the worst he should get is time off for putting things out the window and joking around while on the job.
BUT i suppose he was in the middle of a town... not a good time...
Now if he was on a long run out in the middle of no where...
This isn't even bad press, so really, CSX should give him a christmas bonus. FREE ADVERTISING.
After looking at it better the other shot going away you can see he is wearing it...
