Mc Custom HUD

Tane Build 90945.

Have d/l the Custom HUD rules V2 but cannot change (F8) from the default one.
As far as I remember I had no problems with previous editions of Trainz.


Advice appreciated.

Can you be more explicit on what does not work as expected when using F8 with mc custom hud ? And under what version of Tane ? Tane SP2HF1 or Tane beta SP3 ? I have just tried under a test route and session under SP2HF1 and F8 toggles the custom hud visibility as expected.

I Have Tane SP2 - presumably to HP1 as further updates unavailable.

I was under the impression that I could toggle the HUD from the default HUD to Mc custom hud using F8. But all this does is turn the default HUD off/on.
How can I have the custom HUD show up please?
 
You will need to add it into your session rules in Surveyor - depending on which one you're after it may already be built-in.

I use "track view" HUD. Very useful. But in TANE sometimes does not show plus has other lesser problems. The best is that you can flip points from it. Is there another HUD that can do this?
 
The one I use is indeed buildin.

But before SP2 HF1 it always was automaticly added to every new session.
Now I have to add it manually.

Or do I see ghosts again?

I still can only get the default HUD. I have all the custom and mc custom kuids from basic/installed and from DLS. and added to session.
Am obviously doing something wrong and would appreciate assistance please.
