It's very sad to see this type of Incident occur when it could have been prevented by respecting the Train.ArmoredMonster

I'm perplexed on how the vehicle even got on the tracks to begin with. Didn't see any visible grade level crossings in the footage.
It probably got dragged along the route for a while, before the train stopped. That section is not shown on the video, where it started...
Did you quote some media headline here?
The headline you used implies fault on the part of the train.
The media like to do this, no motorist ever makes a mistake around a train line, the media believe.
And they report using their headlines as the rhetoric.
Do you believe this?

I'm not faulting the train at all. They did hit the car and the motorist was killed, right?

It could be argued that the car hit the train as it was illegally present on the the track and was the cause of the impact. The car driver caused the accident and his own death.

I did find a dead end, farm gated, with only Stop signs, on a private grade crossing on Google Earth map/satellite view near the scene, possibly a worker or contractor ?

It's your own bias against media reporting that is imputing this meaning to the headline.
It is simple statement of fact : there is no implication as to fault.
