'Impossible' route.

Read an article on the 'impossible route', Yuma - San Diego, has the largest trestle bridge and is now a well-known tourist attraction in the area.
Had a search on the DLS but can't see a mention, does anyone know if it has been done? Maybe goes under another name.

It could be referenced as the San Diego and Arizona Railway (SD&A) but googling that in the context of Trainz or limiting to this site only turns up some re-skinned cars. I don't see a reference to an actual route being made.

Here's one of the trestles on the route.

It really was a miserable route. The bits that were full of air, hence the trestles, were full of granite and needed blasting. They were pretty much adding or taking away the whole way.

It would be an interesting route to create in Trainz. If I can get my other Trainz projects out of the way, I'll consider doing it myself...

Here are the links and fabulous story about one Crazy RR line.........
