Diesel loco smoke question

Could somebody explain why on one route the smoke effects work fine with a loco but put the same loco on another route and the smoke effects look completely unrealistic ??? Actually look like black dots bunched together coming out the stack ?

Which version of Trainz does this question relate to?
Because if your answer is T:ANE, then one possible explanation might be the application of the 'Use PhysX simulation' setting in the performance settings area - and the fact that there may be assets in one route (and not the other) that work to deflect particle effects (such as smoke) from certain assets. (For example in tunnels and under bridges, etc.)
Also, just wondering if it involves the built-in ATSF C30-7 which exhibits such diesel emission behavior?

This pertains to TMR17 Build 85470, using the GE ES44AC in BNSF H2 colors and H3 colors by N8PHU with mesh and artwork by SPORBUST. On the Brazemore Yard Layout works fine but on my modified Pioneer & Freedom it looks really bad but the detail level is 100x more on my layout then what's on the Brazemore Yard Layout.

Thanks Railhead001 - the additional details you've now provided will hopefully generate some useful responses from people who have the same version of TMR17 and the assets/ routes you've specified.
