So with this "expanded" section, you now have an additional rail and truck serviced warehouse (MT&T in the lower right hand side), then the large plant/distribution center with storage tanks to receive corn syrup and a 3 track siding for outgoing finished goods. I also added a lumber yard along with the previous added ADM grain elevator storage silo siding that began the expansion.

A total of 6 ATLS crossings, 2 small highly detailed towns, a functional operating block signal system, a main BNSF Loco facility with a freight yard next to it.

Near the ADM elevator are the Mid America and Blaine County Co-op elevators with Corn Products International which is a small plant that uses corn syrup to produce sweetners in foods that can be shipped by boxcar or truck.

On the other side of them is the original Cargill (Grain Corp) processing plant with its corn syrup production tanker siding, covered hopper unloading shed and a boxcar siding with a small freight yard attached with a nearby former BN single loco servicing siding. Also a feed mill with rail access and grain/feed storage silos attached on the opposite side of the small yard can be found.

On the next section is a Feed supply/farm with John Deere dealership . Located on its opposite side is another ADM Elevator and a Corn Products International Corn Syrup storage facility with truck and rail access plus a freight transfer warehouse.

All this adds up to a lot of prototypical operations with interdependent industries servicing a good mix of products. The added wye by the lumber yard helps with this area to have locos redirected as needed.

This layout can easily handle 200+ freight cars and numerous locos.

A short video to view the new expansion:

It's still morning as a crew shift change begins a little late taking their BNSF GP38-2 #2293 from the small servicing siding at Pioneer to pick up some empty corn syrup tankers destined to be refilled at the Corn Products International storage facility.

Please set resolution to 1080p for best viewing results........Enjoy !!!
