    Default diorama: 4 in 1

as a modeltrainzer and a shortliner i like the so called diorama (showcase/gogglebox), as seen in for instance http://www.carendt.com/category/small-layout-scrapbook/ ... modelbuilding with reality grade ...
my current project is producing 4 diorama's in 1 square:
    - the table is the normal ground, because i like the earthstructure ...
    - the background is a mountainwall with different textures in each direction ... with some rocks and rolls ...
    - every side has some industry for shunting and a mainline for passing AI's ... so watch the watch ...
    - on top is some scenery for decoration purposes only ... also for try-outs textures and flora ...

i start in the south with terraforming ... when it becomes what i want, i do the other sides ...
after shaping some texturepainting ... and environment-tuning ...

... next in the west ...

I like your work,... it's constructive and gives you the ability to express your skills in many different ways.

Keep it up. I'd like to see more of this style.

    Cheers,

    Wow!
Dioramas, what a fantastic idea, I think you have just brought a new dimension to Trainz!
Your modelling skils and imagination are top notch.

I have new work to do......

That's seriously impressive. Excellent screen shotz, great video.

As a Trainz model layout constructor it's given me a few ideas too. I generally construct layouts from the perspective of the inside looking out. This is from the outside looking in. Now ... .
