Why does the forum sometimes change my language to some Chinese / Japanese language format? I am using Chrome if that matters

It's right there at the bottom of your post. Chinese (simplified). Happened to me too. Change it to English (or pig latin.)

I've found it is likely to swap to Chinese if I have done a google search for a topic on these forums and then taken that link. The Google links sometimes use a simpler version of the forum look and feel and it is after that I notice the change to Chinese when using my own bookmarks to return to the forum.
